Throughout the year, Pioneer hosts various drives to support local organizations and provide necessary material goods to children and families within our local communities. Find out more about our community drives and how you can contribute below.
Current: School Supply Drive
Join Pioneer in providing essential school supplies to students in our communities as they prepare for the new school year ahead. Donate new or unused school supplies at any one of our 22 branches to help us provide filled backpacks for elementary, middle, or high school students.
WHAT WE NEED: Wide Rule - Composition Notebooks, Loose Leaf Paper & Spiral Notebooks, Glue Bottles, Self-Contained Pencil Sharpeners, Pocket Folders (5 colors), 3x3 Post-It Notes, Blunt & Pointed Scissors, Markers, Colored Pencils, Index Cards
COLLECTION DATES: July 22 - August 16, 2024
WHERE IT GOES: Donated school supplies will be distributed to organizations helping local children in need:
- Capital City Rescue Mission's Backpack Giveaway Party
- Rensselaer County Department of Youth's Community Backpack Program
- Saratoga County Children's Committee's Back to School Program
